Xephyrine’s new album takes you on a sonic adventure

Xephyrine is bringing back the 90s vibe—but this time it’s with a twist! Emerging from the rich musical landscape of New Orleans, Xephyrine began her creative journey by experimenting with her father's software, fusing genres into an entirely new sound. Her eclectic mix of alternative R&B, boom bap rap, jazz, and beyond offers something that resonates with every listener. While she may be shy in person, her music speaks volumes, drawing you into her mesmerizing world. 

Her new album, “DeGaulle Manor”, takes listeners on a ride through her city and the experiences that continue to shape her and her art. This hour-long album is a journey through her city and her personal experiences, offering a deep dive into Xephyrine. 

The album starts with a voicemail message over an old-school instrumental setting the tone for the rest of the project. We float through the first two tracks with a hard-hitting boom bap flare. Xephyrine then slows things down with tracks like ”Magnanimous” and “Self-Promo" allowing her lyrical bars to shine through. “Perfect”, “Been Thru” and “At Last” come in next with some grooves that get your head bobbing.

As the album moves into its second half, we’re greeted with soft, lo-fi instrumentals paired with Xephyrine's mellow tone, making it perfect for studying or working from home.
